This Privacy Policy sets forth the principles and practices regarding the processing of personal data by Akasha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Data Processing)

The Company adheres to the principles of non-custodial operation, decentralization, and minimum data collection, and processes personal data solely for the following purposes.

  1. Business Member Registration and Identity Assurance • Verification and assurance of the identity and credibility of business establishments that accept Bitcoin payments • Verification of the authenticity of business information and its display within the Service • Prevention of fraudulent business registrations and misuse

※ Within this Service, personal data is collected only to the minimum extent necessary for business members, and no transaction data or personal identifying information of individual users is collected.

  1. Service Provision and Operation • Provision of a Bitcoin and Lightning Network–based payment environment • Provision of transaction history management functions on the user’s personal device • Technical support for exporting transaction records stored on the user’s device into Excel files or similar formats upon user request • Payment integration, technical support, and customer service operations
  2. Complaint Handling • Verification of complaints and fact-finding • Notification of handling results and dispute response

※ The Company does not engage in advertising, profiling, behavioral analysis, data sales, or third-party marketing activities.

Article 2 (Principles of Personal Data Processing and Retention)

  1. The Company operates under a structure in which no transaction data or personal identifying information of individual users is collected or stored.
  2. Personal data is processed only for business members, and only to the minimum extent necessary for business identity assurance and service reliability.
  3. The principles for processing personal data and transaction-related information are as follows:
•	Business Member Information
•	Business name, business location, business category, and minimum information required for business identification
•	Used for displaying business credibility within the Service and protecting users
•	Deleted without delay upon business member withdrawal or service termination

(except where retention is required by applicable laws) • Individual User Information • No mandatory personal data is collected for user registration • Transaction history, payment information, and personal identifying data are not stored on the Company’s servers • Transaction Records • Transaction records are stored only within the personal wallet on the user’s personal device • The Company does not store or retain individual transaction records on its servers • The Company has no authority to access, view, modify, or delete transaction records

4.	Notwithstanding the above, the following non-identifiable technical information may be processed on a limited basis to ensure legal compliance and service stability:

•	Service access logs
•	Technical logs for system error detection and response
•	Minimum access information for preventing abnormal or malicious use

※ Such information does not allow identification of transaction details, asset balances, or counterparties.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties)

  1. The Company does not, in principle, provide personal data to third parties.
  2. Personal data may be provided only within the scope permitted by applicable laws in the following cases:
•	Upon a lawful request by investigative or supervisory authorities
•	With the explicit consent of the data subject
